Anyway, on the page for the Customizable Purse, I mentioned that Ayame was distractedly displeased that Aimi had taken the purse. Well, after selling some of my dolls (still have more to go) I found a Stitch plush on eBay (guess what?! He came from Hawaii! :D) and I bought him. He arrived yesterday, and Ayame claimed him. Although, I think Sonali wants to be Lilo for Halloween (no, I don't celebrate Halloween, but I do enjoy dressing my dolls up in costumes I don't normally dress them in other times of the year) and if so, she wants to use Stitch to complete the outfit (which I still have to figure out wrist and ankle bands for).
Okay, now to explain why the last few posts, though the title dates them as being from last month, where posted today. I forgot to update the blog. . . And, I've not been doing a lot of crafty things lately. . . I've been trying to sell some of my dolls (not my AG girls) and I've let that take up too much of my time. Also, we had some hopefully temporary additions to the household, sort of. . . As you can see, they are four-legged and furry. And very, very sweet. And though I'll miss them when they are gone, I've been trying to help find them a home where they can be inside kitties. They showed up one day, and we have no idea where they came from. We can't keep them, sadly... Anyway, on the page for the Customizable Purse, I mentioned that Ayame was distractedly displeased that Aimi had taken the purse. Isn't he adorable? :D He got here in three days! I was so excited when I opened the box he arrived in. Oh, you want to see the rest of Ayame too? Ok! :D There's Stitch again! :) Anyway, the dress, tights, and shoes are some of the other things I bought from my mom, and Yoshi (also adorable) I got last year from Target. Isn't Ayame just so cute in this outfit? She really likes it.

This purse was originally Molly's Muff. I sewed one end shut, and added round toggle clasp pieces the the other end. Then I clipped on one of my necklaces as a strap.
To see more pictures of the purse, and/or read about how I made it, scroll up to the menu bar, hover over the Sewing & Craft Projects button, and click on 9-23-13 ~Customizable Purse. Or you can click on either of the two links in this post. Here's Kasi with a pencil and a coloring book I made. I printed some coloring pages out wallet size, and then sewed them together. The pencil is a hand-colored toothpick that was trimmed on one end. My first. . ah, okay, second attempt at making doll food (if I said first elsewhere, I just remembered I attempted to make some salt dough doll food years ago. . It, um, didn't work out like I had hoped. . .). Sorry for the blurry picture.. Three shakes, blueberry cream, raspberry, and strawberry. I left them alone for a week or two, and they sank in the middle. I don't know if that is because of the pom-poms I used to try to make the 'whipped cream' look raised or what happened. I put pieces of a coffee stirrer in the two reddish shakes, because they bugged me the most. Somewhere I have a collection of sample spoons that I've gathered for my dolls, and I'll use one of those to go with the blue shake. To see more pictures of the shakes, and/or read more about how I made it, scroll up to the menu bar, hover over the Sewing & Craft Projects button, and click on 8-10-13 ~Yummy Shakes.
