10" Makie dolls
Makies are 3D printed, which leaves them feeling a bit rough and.. I'm not really sure how to describe it. Sort of fragile. My mom's first spoken thought was paper mache. My first thought was 'that feels different' and the second was 'sort of like lightweight wood'. Her wig is just the right thickness for a little girl like her, though the side bangs are a little unruly. I just love the pointy little elven ears. And her eyes are so clear and beautiful. The first thing I did was go through my Barbie and mini AG clothes (Monster High is WAY too skinny) and quite a few fit, though she only got to keep Barbie and handmade items. Also, thanks to the advice given on the Makie Facebook page, I tried my two pairs of Ken boots (one from Legolas, one from an ice skater guy) on Rain and they fit! Also, on a hunch I tried Girls of Many Lands Saba's dress on Rain, and that fit too! So I went through the rest of my GOML dolls and my Makies have a few more beautiful pieces of clothing.
