My Makie's Valentine Gift
Now, I don't celebrate Valentine's Day. No reason too. But, with seeing all the valentinesy doll clothes posted on the Facebook groups I'm on, and finding some appropriately colored fabric scraps, I decided to make a valentinesy outfit for Rainbow.
It is a lot of pink, I realize, but it's not all the same shade, and I think it works well together. Can you guess what I'm going to make?
Here's a couple peeks. The necklace & bracelet are something I made a while ago, but works well with the outfit I'm making.
The earrings are a couple of oval jumprings.

And, tada! Outfit done. I used the pattern from Wren*Feathers free pattern for tiny dolls, and the skirt I did by myself. The silvery sash is removable. The bag strap is a chain remnant from a foot-long length, with a couple of small oval jumprings for the link sewn onto the bag. The shoes are Barbie (newer Barbie).
