Fashion Show - It's Me!
This morning I remembered another set of small dolls I have had sitting around, so I decided to try their clothes on Rain. Again, click on pictures to make them bigger.
This doll is actually a Tonner Kripplebush Kid, but I've had her sitting with the It's Me! dolls because she's similar in size. Her outfit fit's Rain pretty well, but the pants are a little short, so I moved them down a little. Maybe I'll move them up next time and roll up the hem. The jacket isn't my favorite, so I'm leaving that in the for-sale box, and the headband is clearly too small, so I didn't even try it.
This skirt is It's Me!, and the top is Barbie.
This is an It's Me! doll, and Rain is wearing her outfit. It fits great! There is even a separate pair of shorts under the skirt. The fabric of the top is a little weird, kind of stiff, but it is really pretty.
This is another It's Me! outfit. It ends up being an empire waist (even a smidge too high), but is really cute.
This outfit fits really well. The pants are a bit big around the waist if the shirt isn't tucked in, but they work. I can always take them in a little if I need too. The sandals are a little bit too small, but they'll work.
This sweater is from the It's Me! girls, and fits fairly well. The shoulders are a bit bulky, but I believe that is from the way the sweater was constructed. It is also a bit baggy, but hey, it's a sweater. :)
This was in with them too, but I think it is seamstress made. There are no closures, so I need to do that. I'll probably also add some lace or something for modesty.
Final thoughts: The clothes fit really well, hats and shoes not so much. The pants are a bit big in the waist, but that shouldn't be too hard to fix. The tops are also a little bit baggy, but that isn't as much of an issue.
