8-22-2014 -Dissecting a Glove
This is what this project started out as. A simple (I'm assuming a child's) glove -one of those tight ones that don't provide much warmth, more just protection against the snow in case of falls. After seeing a project tutorial online, on doll-it-up.com, for fingerless gloves for the dolls, I knew I wanted to try it. So when I got to working out a design for my entry for the newest DW FDC, I knew I had the perfect opportunity to try it out. So I did, and here is proof:
Yes, it is a very cropped picture, but I'm not leaking any more pics of my entry just yet. I used Liquid Stitch around the edges so it wouldn't fray away to nothing.
Here's that glove again. Kinda sad, huh? Yeah, not really. Anyway, I was able to make a pair of fingerless gloves, a pair of mittens, a capelet/bunny eared headband for mini AGs, and a beanie for mini AGs. Oh, and a beanie for the big dolls. A bit snug, but it works. And no, no pictures of them on, except that one pic above. Sorry. :)
